Let Me Help SAVE Your Marriage Too!!!
I’m getting more and more calls from people asking me if I can help them and their spouse with current financial issues. These aren’t people who are seeking a divorce, these are people who are smart enough to see preliminary signs that if they don’t get advice from a financial expert who knows the implications of divorce, that their marriage too will fail due to financial problems.
I never thought of my business as one that could prevent a divorce, but after so much recent demand from married couples who are seeking help from a financial expert who has “been there, done that”, I thought hey why not? Let’s get these people in here and get them the help they need to save their marriage!!! Being a CDFA, I not only can assist in disolving a marriage, but I can also help in saving a marriage too. How exciting is that!!!
I read your blog, but I am sorry, I don’t think pointing out the finances of a family can save a marriage. Are you married? Finances are an aspect of a relationship but you can not act as if it it the componant that will save a marriage.
Good marketing idea though. Good luck.
Kim,
Thank you so much for your response on my blog. I like to hear what other peoples opinions are. To answer your question, no I have never been married. However, I have been in the middle of hundreds of divorce cases and I’ve seen a lot of marriages fall apart simply because of financial issues. If only those couples could have had some financial counseling in the beginning of their marriage, maybe the marriage wouldn’t have fallen apart so abruptly. It’s my goal to reach those couples I just described BEFORE the divorce reaches them. Again, thank you so much for your comment! I hope you continue reading as more information is revealed on my blog

Is this a firm or an individual? I am getting into this aspect of my divorce (QDRO, Stock Division, Pension) and we were somewhat “assigned” by her lawyer or should I say he picked them to do the division. It is a firm in Jefferson County. Doing some investigating and it looks from your information that I had a choice in the matter.
Using hotel computer but will check back.
I read the posts and it’s somewhat comical that one guy posts to blog & is picking up (hooking up, asking out) a woman blogging about divorce and finances. Man, not looking forward to being single and doing stuff like that
Hi Paul,
I am an individual with support staff. And, to answer your question, yes, you can pick who you want to do your QDRO for you. It kind of also depends how it’s spelled out in the settlement agreement as to who’s responsibility it is to get the QDRO done; was it your responsibility or your wife’s? If you want to email me personally at janiceann333@aol.com or call me, I can explain it in better detail for you. Thank you so much for your comment.
